Greenfix Silt Stop 100 LP is a temporary sediment control fence used on construction sites to protect water quality in nearby streams, rivers, lakes and seas from sediment (loose soil) in stormwater runoff.
Silt Stop 100 LP provides superior tensile strength and low elongation. The rolls are also resistant to UV deterioration, rotting, biological degradation, naturally encountered bases and acids.
The rolls which are 0.915m x 30.5m come with hardwood stakes pre-installed for quick and easy installation.
In 2017 The Environment Agency published Pollution Prevention Guideline 5 (PPG5) on ‘Works and maintenance in or near water’. This is becoming increasingly enforced and will in time become legislation.
